As part of Canon’s ongoing efforts to strengthen its relationship with partners across the region, the three-day conference, held at The Ritz Carlton in Abu Dhabi, brought together over 150 partners from 46 countries in the Middle East and Africa. The conference presented a new communication strategy focused on sharing feedback with partners and facilitating decisions in a dynamic market that requires constant evaluation and modifications to customer approach.
Anurag Agrawal, Managing Director, Canon Middle East said: “The annual partner conference is a critical event for Canon Middle East in that it provides us with the opportunity to speak openly with partners on their achievements and challenges. Canon also outlined a strategic focus on extending new business opportunities through focusing on enhancing services such as MPS, Management Document Services and new consumer services such as photo printing and cloud platforms for image management.
A highlight of the conference was the gala dinner at Emirates Palace where the 2014 Performance Awards were presented. The 13 categories celebrated partner accomplishments across the business. The President’s Award, presented by Anurag Agrawal, was granted to Sabi Systems, for their strategic activations and business performance.
