Canon’s first WUXGA short throw compact installation projector with generous 75% vertical lens shift and 4000 lumens brightness, combined with exceptional energy efficiency.
Take a more detailed look into the Canon XEED WUX400ST
The XEED WUX400ST is a unique high-resolution compact installation multimedia projector. Its short throw Canon projection lens features an exceptionally wide range of vertical and horizontal lens shift. This all-new lens virtually eliminates distortion (typically 0.1%) and has a throw ratio of just 0.557:1. So a 100" image can be projected from just 1.2 metres – around one third of the throw distance required by conventional projectors. Despite its short focal length, the lens projects images from 30" up to a large 300" diagonal in size. With both vertical and horizontal shift – including an exceptionally wide 75% vertical range – the projector can be discreetly located above or below the screen and is suitable for both front and rear projection.
The latest Canon AISYS optical system is more efficient than ever. Delivering 4000 lumens of brightness and a 2000:1 contrast ratio, images are clear, bright and vivid – with the same outstandingly accurate colours and smooth image rendition you expect from the XEED range.
Native WUXGA resolution (1920x1200 pixels) and Full HD capabilities are supported by LCOS display technology that delivers stunning, perfectly smooth images. Alongside its professional-quality optics, the XEED WUX400ST’s new image processing engine is packed with installer-friendly features like hardware edge blending, on-board registration adjustment (to ensure perfect RGB panel alignment) and built-in test patterns. The picture-by-picture image display supports twin digital inputs so it’s perfect for modern video-conferencing applications. The 4-Point Keystone Correction function help project images from almost any angle with perfect geometry, while Motion Blur reduction keeps images sharp during fast-moving video playback.
The new flat-top chassis includes clever feet mounting options and is ideal for advanced multi-projector installations. Stacking, upward and downward projection are all easy to achieve.
HDMI and DVI-I terminals offer digital input, while firmware is easy to update via the USB port, which also allows projection directly from USB flash drives. Crestron RoomView® enables instant unified remote control and monitoring, while the Network Multi-Projection (NMPJ) function allows easy projection over the LAN.
The XEED WUX400ST’s lamp lasts up to 5000 hours when used in ECO mode. A dedicated ECO button instantly engages the low-power lamp mode and other power-saving features for outstandingly energy-efficient operation.
