Behind the lens: Photographer Timm Schneider
Timm Schneider is a Germany-based photographer and designer who plays with the idea of urban intervention with his subtle yet striking art works. In his project, ‘They Live’, he uses Styrofoam eye-balls and temporary adhesive to discreetly change street furniture and urban landscapes, then photographs the results. Describing his work he says:
“As well as being art, I thought it was nice because feeding a trash monster teaches environmental responsibility through fun. The best things in life are free. I don't feel like the typical artist selling artworks in galleries."
Timm has had many articles about him and his work in published around the world, including The Daily Mail and This is Colossal.
